The Rutherford Appellation of Napa Valley is well known for their outstanding Chardonnay wines. This chardonnay is no exception. Aging for 14 months in French oak gives the wine a creamy finish. This process brings out flavors of vanilla and butterscotch on the palate with hints of apple, peach and apricot on the finish. This wine pairs well with salmon, chicken or turkey, or a fresh heirloom tomato salad.
