Rarely will you find Petit Verdot as a stand-alone varietal. Historically, Petit Verdot is used in Bordeaux style blends. We feel that the grape is outstanding on it's own, and want to share this hand-crafted wine with you. Less than 200 cases were made.

Historically, Petit Verdot was used as a minor component in many of Bordeaux's finest wines. When able to ripen fully, the grape can add a rich purple color, firm tannins and an exotic floral and spicy perfume to the resulting wines. The 2006 Petit Verdot is the second Petit Verdot for Bourassa Vineyards. Less than 200 cases were crafted.
