Vics Special Syrah BBQ Sauce

1-Cup Bourassa Syrah

1- Cup beef stock
2-Cups quality ketchup
½-Cup maple syrup
1/2 –Cup smoked olive oil
1-Tbs. smoked Paprika
¼-Cup blackberry jam
¼-Cup apricot jam
¼-Cup Hoi sin sauce
1/8-Cup Oyster sauce
2-Tbs. Worchester Sauce
2-Tsp. red pepper flakes
2-Tsp. Salt & black pepper

Mix Syrah & beef stock together in a stock pot, reduce on medium heat until ¼ cup remains, add all ingredients and heat on low heat to blend flavors, about 15 minutes, adjust heat and add lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to taste.

This can be a marinade or a finishing sauce for ribs, beef or pork, chicken, shrimp or add to pork fried rice.
